Mistral. It has been a few weeks, so I can't do it total justice, but it was a crusty chocolate outside (i.e. medium well, but no chunky nuts that I can recall) and a chocately, fudgy (bot runny b/c it is hot) inside. It has characteristics of a molten lava cake but better. Plus everyone has a molten lava cake and I fear standards have lowered but this potentially wonderful creation. I eat lots of chocolate, so even if my description leaves a little to be desired, maybe you can take my word on it.
Otherwise, Mistral was a real treat. If you really want to have a great dining experience, and you don't want to go to a steak house, I highly recommend it.

Pedicure
I had the best pedicure of my life yesterday at Spa Newbury, 115 Newbury Street. After a lackluster facial at a different spa on Newbury, I still needed a pick-me-up, and this place delivered. While I'll still go to Lan's on Tremont for my manicures, I won't be able to resist the crystal mud soak or other half dozen treatments that comprised this pedicure. Outstanding and homey.

French Toast
Aquitaine in the South End. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside. Absolutely perfect every time.

Bacon Cheeseburger
Tremont 647 bacon cheeseburger is awesome. While I really like the cheeseburger at Garden of Eden, and you can buy the ground beef they use at Lionnette's, it is not quite the same. I love fancy bacon including smoked, apple-wood smoked, etc. bacon. Tremont is a great mix of a great burger and great bacon. I highly recommend it!

Chocolate Martini
Rocca in the South End on Harrison Ave. Topped with powdered chocolate, better than dessert!
